Ingredients:
2.5 cups dairy/almond milk
1 cup instant oats
2 ripe fresh mangoes
Method:
Toast the oats without any oil in a pan for about a minute on a slow flame, stirring continuously.
Tip: Toast the oats in bulk; let them cool down and store in an airtight container. Toasted oats give a nutty flavour, and this step can be skipped when making breakfast.
Soak the oats in warm milk for 5-10 minutes, or you can mix them with the milk and refrigerate it overnight. It depends on whether you like the oats warm or cold. Peel the mangoes, discard the seeds, and take the fresh pulp out. Add the pulp to the oats bowl. Add more milk if required. This is a great breakfast that has the goodness of mangoes and hardly takes any time to make and is healthy and fulfilling.
